Video Script

This video will teach you how to search for and view your matched bids.

Matched bids will match you with bid opportunities based on the keywords and categories you identified in your profile. To view this, click Bid Opportunities and the Matched Bids sub-tab.

On the left side, you will see some criteria that allow you to define your opportunities further and filter them. The first option is a toggle switch to show you opportunities from only PlanetBids agencies or all agencies. You can filter by a specific keyword or choose the project stage (planning or bidding). You can select certain bid types, define a range of due dates, and filter by state and county. Once you have defined your criteria, click Search. If you’d like to clear the criteria and start over, click Clear. To save the search results, click "Save Search Query."

Once you have completed a search, you will see a list of matched projects for bidding. You can see the posted date, project title, agency, due date, and stage. To view more information about the project, click the project. A sidebar will appear, providing detailed information about the project. You can also pin this project to your list by clicking the pin icon in the upper left corner of the sidebar. To open the project details in a separate window, click the Open Details button. Several tabs will appear at the top, showing detailed information about the project.

In addition, if you feel that the bids showing in Matched Bids do not fully match your expected results, you can also update your email criteria by selecting “Update Your Profile Information”. This will direct you to your main VendorLine Profile where you can update your Category Codes and Keywords, as needed.
