What are Response Types?

Response Types have two functions. They configure the system to display the correct information to the vendors and configure Bid Results to allow submissions to be entered and recorded.

Request for Quotes and Bids require at minimum one Line Item.

Requests for Proposals, Qualifications or Information require at minimum either the Cost File or the Response File.

General Attachment provides the Agency with the ability to request additional documents from the bidder.

Subcontractors (available with Advanced eBidding for Public Works) enables an online form for Primes to provide subcontractor information or select No Subs when submitting an offer. The Subcontractor list can be displayed with bid results.

Bid Bond (available with Advanced eBidding for Public Works) provides bidders with the ability to upload their bid bond or declare they are submitting a cashier's check.
