Responding to a Request as an Approver (Article)

When you have been designated as an approver on a Request, you will receive an email similar to this. Click View the Request to go directly to the Request:

You will be taken directly to the request so you can review all of the information about what is being requested. You can also view your pending requests by clicking Projects then Requests from the top menu:

You will see a list of Requests, and you can search for a specific Request or view your pending reviews by clicking My Reviews:

Here, you can Deny the Request, Request Changes to the Request, or Approve the Request:

If you Request Changes, an email will be sent to the requester.

To make the requested changes, the Request must be in draft status. Click Revert to draft to do so:

Make the requested changes and resubmit as outlined in Making a Request.

If you Deny the Request, a required comment box will pop up:

Once you’ve put your comment in, click Deny. The requester will receive an email informing them of the denial:

To Approve the Request, click Approve. The requester will be notified by email:

 

Sometimes, a user with Status Override privileges may need to override the Request's status. To do this, click Status Override:

From the drop-down, choose the Status you wish to change to:

Click Confirm:

An email will be sent to the appropriate party to alert them of the change.
