Admin Settings for Requests (Article)

To assign a user privileges to complete certain tasks for Requests, click More, and then Admin from the PlanetBids home page:

Select Users:

Click on the User you wish to adjust permissions for, and scroll to Requests:

You will see three options to choose from. Select which option(s) you would like this user to have. Allow to Edit Requests Admin Settings will allow the user to configure the options of the standard Request form (upcoming functionality estimated to be available around November 2025). If you choose Allow to Be Assigned as Approver, you will see additional options available. Here, you can set the maximum estimated cost this user can approve and for which departments. Allow to Override Approval Status will allow the user to use the Status Override feature, letting them change the status of any request from any status to any other status, as long as they can view the request:

When you are finished, click Done:

Then click Submit:

And Save:
