Metadata and Tags

 

To view the metadata and tag information for your document, click Details:

 

This will open the Details pane, and you will see your document information:

If you would like to add/update an association to a project, if you click Select Project, it will open a list of projects for you to choose from:

If you’d like to associate one of those projects with the document, choose the radio button to the left of a project and then select Save:

The information will be updated in the Details tab below. You can also access the bid details by clicking Access Bid Details:

If you’d like to add/update an association to a contract, click Select Contract. It will open a list of contracts for you to choose from:

If you’d like to associate one of those contracts with the document, choose the radio button to the left of a contract and then select Save:

The information will be updated in the Details tab below. You can access the contract details by clicking Access Contract Details:

If you would like to add/update an association to a module, click the drop-down for modules. This will show you a list of available modules from which you can choose:

Click the module(s) you wish to associate the document with.

To remove association with a module, click the X to the right of the module name:

You can add tags to your documents to make them easier to find and to group them in specific ways for your use case.

Note: it is not a best practice to add tags that conflict with features in Document Management (for example: status, template, module, contract name, project name, author, etc.). 

 Type in the tags box to add tags, separating each tag by a comma:

You can also remove tags by clicking the X to the right of the tag.

You can see who created the document, when it was created, and when it was last updated:
